Nintendo Music

Nintendo Music is an app that will allow you to stream and listen to music from some of Nintendo's most famous video games. The app features the soundtracks of games from sagas such as Super Mario, Metroid Prime, Donkey Kong, Pikmin, Splatoon, The Legend of Zelda, Mario Kart, Kirby and Animal Crossing, among others. What's more, the app's catalog of music grows ever bigger with each new update.

You'll need a Switch Online account

You must have a Nintendo Switch Online account to use Nintendo Music. Before you can start using the app, you'll need to log in to your Nintendo account from your default browser and, from there, link your profile. It is important to note that this is a paid subscription, which means that you'll only be able to listen to the music if you're already paying for this Nintendo subscription service.

Listen to your favorite songs as much as you want

Listening to the soundtrack of your favorite games is great, but thanks to Nintendo Music, you can extend the length of many of the songs in the app and listen to them for 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Thanks to this feature, you can turn your favorite songs into background music while you're studying or exercising. What's more, the music will continue to play even when your device's screen turns off or while you use other apps, similar to the way Spotify works.

Create your own playlists

While listening to a relaxing Animal Crossing song for 60 minutes is great, Nintendo Music also lets you create playlists so you can listen to your favorite tracks in any order you want. And the best part? You can even select some songs and listen to them offline, without needing an Internet connection. This way, you can have entire playlists to enjoy during plane rides or any other situation where you know you won't be able to access the Internet.
